I fly faster and higher, how can I select higher values in the calculator?
If the default altitude, speed, fuel and other values are too limiting for your aircraft, click the 'Edit' button found at the top of most e6b calculation screens. The 'Edit' screens will allow you to customize the e6b to values suitable for your aircraft.
Can I type-in my answers instead of selecting from a list?
Most E6B calculation screens have an 'Edit' button found in the upper right corner. Pressing the 'Edit' button will display an 'Edit' screen. The 'Edit' screen allows you to customize the E6B calculator and set preferences as to how you should be prompted for information. You can choose to select values from a list or type-in your answers. You may also set your preference as to which numeric keypad to use - big numbers, or small!
How can I enter a decimal value for some calculations?
There are several ways to do this. If you are selecting values from a list, you can customize your list to include decimal values from the 'Edit' screen. If you are using the full keypad, just click the decimal button. If you are using the large numeric keypad, rotate the iPhone landscape then press the decimal button.
